PRE-DEMO BUILD

A HUGE update is coming soon.
Before building the game's story and campaign, I decided to make the gaming experience as enjoyable as possible.
List of updates:
- Visual effect of killing an enemy, slow motion
- New weapons: Large-caliber light machine gun, carbine, fire axe, semi-automatic carbine, submachine gun, available in developer mode
- Improved enemy AI: better reaction to sounds and the player.
- Ability to skip dialogues, gradual dialogue unfolding, sound effect for unfolding.
- Dialogues are no longer reproduced after the player's death.
- Melee weapon dash rework: Dash now has a separate cooldown, making gameplay with it much more dynamic.
- Shots and melee attacks with firearms also received different cooldowns.
- Enemies shout out lines during the fight.
- The hit registration algorithm has been improved.
- Added frame simulation for vertical synchronization: thanks to this, physics breaks and input delays will no longer occur at low frame rates.
- The main menu and settings menu have been improved; the settings menu is divided into categories.
- Added the ability to customize controls.
- An improved sight for firearms that shows the weapon's spread and the actual trajectory of the bullet.
- Russian translation of the game. (Everything except dialogues, as all levels will be completely reworked later)
- Blurring around the edges of the screen, narrowing the field of view in combat.
- The visual effect of an enemy detecting a player.
- Improved enemy AI: They can now swap their current weapon for the better one on the ground.
- The cursor color now indicates weapon cooldown (Red = ranged attack/basic attack, Green = melee attack, Blue = dash)
- Some other minor additions...
According to playtesters, the gameplay has improved significantly. Unfortunately, the levels themselves have not been affected, but they will be in subsequent updates. The next major update will be a full vertical slice of the game.
